Lena Appel is a director, performer and writer based between Berlin and Frankfurt am Main. She has shown her work at Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm, Frankfurt LAB, Thalia Theater Hamburg, Deutsches Filminstitut und Filmmuseum, Frankfurter Kunstverein, saasfee*pavillon and more. Appel is currently a phd student at the Institute of Theater Studies at the Free University Berlin. Her next theater project is called “Crimes of the Future”.
